Welcome to Bari-Plex 2000...
the company dedicated to providing the finest in bariatric supplements to patients who have lost weight in either surgical or non surgical programs. With any weight loss, regardless of the means, vitamin deficiencies can occur resulting in hair loss, softening of the teeth, brittle nails, dry skin, decrease in muscle mass and anemias. The majority of these deficiencies may be corrected by using the proper micronutrient replacements.

Our nutritional researchers have worked with surgeons who have performed bariatric procedures for more than 40 years, providing services for more than ten thousand patients. We now have identified the specific deficiencies which can and do occur after gastric bypass, gastric banding and the sleeve resection.

The key to vitamin, mineral and trace element replacement in the patient who is losing weight is the daily use of micronutrients with high bioavailability. This means that the supplement you take has the greatest possible chance for absorption, i.e., entering the blood stream from the gastrointestinal tract. (GI). The problem with most commercially prepared micronutrients is that they are designed for people who have normal GI tracts, not for patients who have food restriction, i.e., (gastric band or sleeve resection) or bypass of the stomach and small intestine, i.e., (gastric bypass).

As a consequence, our products use chelated carriers (amino acids) to transport micronutrients directly into the blood stream regardless of the operation performed. The micronutrients stay in the blood stream to aid patient's nutritional uptake. They are not heavily excreted into the urine providing greater absorption potential.

Our products have been developed by our surgeon advisors and nutritional researchers over the last 20 years. They have been used in more than 15 bariatric programs nationally. They are competitively priced. They are not available in stores or by prescription.
